Ea bought westwood so they now own C&C, so I would assume the also own the dune games. They should release a pack of those games. Or does anyone know if there is one currently out in stores?

You might still be able to buy Emperor, I don't know about the rest.

The only Dune game EA has released, was Emperor: Battle for Dune. You may find it on the internet or at your local gamestore, but you may have big troubles finding any older Dune games.

[offtopic]I recently have finished the Harkonnen campaign. Seriously, the last misson was really fun to play Very Happy [/offtopic]

shoutout to EA: release DUNE:THE TRILOGY, you'll make some money, and you don't really have to do anything, all the games are already made, and you own them. You released the first decade, why not the dune equivalanet?

I think there may be 1 problem: they only have the rights of the latest Dune game; all other Dune products (film, games, etc) are from some other company (IIRC the one who created the movie) Wink

Dune2: battle for Arrakis is considered abandonware and easily found over the internet. Dune 2000, well as was said might be findable. I personally never played E:BfA myself, but own and play D2k and the old Dune 2 games though.

lol, I was able to find dune II on the net. I find it quite funny. Although "select, type M, click, type A click" seems like it would make games last forever. but it's all good. In the setup for instalation, it says something like: "type 1 if you have a high end computer that has over 1 mb or ram". I have 2g

I own Emperor and no cookies. =[

. I liked the campaign, teilaxu leeches and contaminators...and the worms of doom.

but I believe westwood said it had very poor sales and will be the last Dune based game they will ever make..which now is True..so yea,..maybe EA might make it?

Hopefully there will be a new Dune game; I loved the series #Tongue.
Also, if you didn't know, Emperor Alliances plot; Emperor's canceled sequel.
Emperor was cool, but it needed more movies.

Yeah, the dune universe is such a fun one. I loved the sonic tank as well, and the Fremen were fun(until those cheap-arsed harkonen tanks get tread happy) but it really sucked when the distruptor beam is flying and some friendlies pass by then gib to death XD. Good games, to bad though they wont see a modern sequal...

I think EA should probe out to see if Dune has an audience by releasing a bundle pack with some video interviews and maybe concept art for Dune(4?). I mean come on, they released E:B4D, and westwood, which they now own, released the other two. If it sells well, then they have an incentive for a sequal. If it's a massive failure, then they shouldn't make a sequel. I guess someone could always mod C&C3.
