I found this on APB forums. Found by theta123:

Quote:

I still miss the GDI Campaign, but i noticed something
Run KW.Hit ctrl+alt+del.Check the process name of KW.

It says cnc3Ep1(episode 1??)

I think we can expect more expansions ^^

Titans/wolverines/Behemoths ftw.

Anyone has any ideas if this can be true?

The executable also says CNC3EP1. It probably stands for Expansion Pack 1. Westwood had more than 1 expansion planned for their version of C&C3 initially.

Red Alert had more than one expansion, I'm sure it's perfectly possible. Besides, I'm sure the C&C3 storyline arc has a long way to go before everything is explained, just like the HL2 story. They may also want to make a small tie-in with Tiberium despite the fact it's meant to be a separate franchise.

Or it could meant First Expansion.

umm, destiny.
That is one of the most blindly stupid things I've ever heard Laughing
Did you even read through the thread?
That has already been said and people are discussing it since about the second post. It's like going into Nasa and saying "Maybe the earth goes round the sun?". Laughing use your eyes, if you can manage to play the word game properly I *think* you can read a thread... Smile

Yeah, lots of games these days are going that way, you buy a game then need several Xpacks to get everything, EA is just following a marketplace trend.

They will, this is how the industry's going, they might not but there's a good chance they will.

Yeah, sarcasm is good.

They should just make some £7 downloadable campaigns. Personally I don't think they can add more to C&C3 and KW without making it messy.

I've noticed it time and time again - EA's strategy is to get you overexcited about the next thing, only for it to be just like the last one you've bought..

But when you finally realize it, EA makes a new thing to keep you distracted, promising even more cool stuff and awesomeness.

Hmmm, what ideas should we give EA?
1)Scrin Campaign
2)GDI campaign
3)Cooperative Campaign
4)Moar Mutants! (and visceroid should be purchasable at the hovel)
5)More diversity in the sides (more units)
6)Officially made survival maps
7)More options for both multiplayer and global conquest (do I want alternative victories? do I want super weapons? Do I want short game? Do I want to turn ability powers off?)
8)Those energy fences buildabe (Nod red and Gdi blue, and as legite walls, not an upgrade).
9)Subfaction General's Challenge!
10)Unique epic units
11)Include the original CnC with skirmish
12)Reintroduce the Yuri's Revenge method of choosing start position, so that if you do not have a custum map, you may still be able to choose what starting position you want.
13)A bonus Dvd
14)Official supported mods come in a bonus disk
15)a demo for tiberium
16)free t-shirt

Number 16 of your ideas:

I have a Scrin shirt, a Scrin hat, and a Scrin cup.

Might want to check the EA Store next time.

I definitely want a few Art Of Defense missions, or a 'Visceroid' map like in Tiberian Sun's online. Those maps are under detailed and crap, though. Surely EA could deliver a good one?

Also, I want RA3 model kits, and a plush Giant Squid. Hell, even a Kirov. Diecast C&C units would also be a treat. Who wouldn't like a Mammoth Tank on the desk?

Awesome. Thanks for this.

TX, offtopic, but, do you still have that Magnetron voxel you did? You posted pics of it on Revora, and it looks really nice IMO.

17)free hat Wink
18)Global Conquest Online
19)Intreractive Tibeium War, I envision a much larger map in which the online players all join in an epic war for global domination. Risk on steroids, only this time, you represent only guy. Envision dozens of players forming battles in an ever changing front. Scores of simutaneous battles carve out the face of the earth, making wars that could last for weeks (well, the plan if enough people will be constantly joining that a person can leave without losing the war).

Ya, bit of a problem with the Magnetron voxel Mei Ling, it got such a crappy response that I kind of deleted it Sad It was wasting precious hard-drive space, and I really didn't like it. So yeah, sorry about that.

I'm never done Very Happy However I do take rather long breaks.
[/offtopic]

IMO, Kane's Wrath leads on to Tiberium (the new FPS EA is working on)

I second that.

A company called joyride studios did make some renegade toys. There was a flame tank and even a mammoth with rolling treads.

I always wanted a nicely molded replica of the allied med tank and soviet heavy tank.

1/50 or 1/43 scale with thick rubber rolling treads and opening hatches.

Until then we will have to settle with LEGO or papercraft models.

I remember once trying to build a TD conyard out of lego. It resulted in a terrible failure.

Executable file of TLotR: BFME2: RoWk have name "lotrbfme2ep1.exe", and what?! Where is second add-on for BFME2?!

Don't dreaming! EA can make few add-ons only for The Sims!

Outstanding, but no treads Sad

There's no real way to do that in LEGO. At least not for vehicles that big, and without specifically ordering parts.

Actually, there are few lego vehicles with treads. You'd just need to use four of them (would suit for a bit bigger tank better, though).

Actually I have a Lego Redalert1 Tesla Tank with threads from a old electric motor lego kit (Did not put the electric motor in the Tesla Tank however)(It used a white marble for the Tesla Coil)

BTW my Mammoth Tank is/was bigger than yours and has more a X66 Mammoth tank shape Very Happy (Dont have any pictures of it however) and it does not have any threads (only wheels hidden behind black lego pieces to mimic threads)

I have/had a lego C&C1/RA1 Medium tank too and a lego M270 Rocket Launcher

EDIT: I knew there was something I forgot:
I got/(had a GDI Hover MLRS too (Non rotatable Turret Very Happy )
