They shot a flare, but these pilots aren't morons, and even so, there's a Machinegun in each doorway to warn off anyone willing to try...

Maybe a redeye then Gufu,handheld SAMs aren't a new idea.
But yeah, maybe they will have the ability to spray a little tead skywards on the assumption it won't do much damage...

No, not that realistic Wink It's realistic in a way it is more like RA1 the RA2 when looking at the technology. Also, rifle infantry use grenades vs tanks now instead of firing their rifles.

then an infatry WOULD shoot at the helicopter. LT's logic is that he would not by pure virtue that he's afraid he will be shot at. If a dude can take more than one bullet, than he wouldn't be afraid of returning fire to the heli.

IDK if YR offers this, but there really should be two flying classes, one for low flying objects like heleicopters and then one for normal airplanes. Actually, you could probably fudge it by using the hover code, because you guys probably aren't using any hover units, right?

I could use EVverses in Npatch to have a "Helicopter" armour that would allow me to choose what could attack helis, and the hover code means it would be able to let people out and load them up from flight, right?

ummm, then it won't be able to load people...Could be useful for gunships though as IIRC hover trans are normal vehicles and normal vehicles turn to face their targets...
