SSIA Battlecruiser:
Cost: 2300
Armor: Ship
Speed: Medium
Weapon: 125mm Tri-Cannon
Anti-Sub Missiles
Anti-Aircraft Missiles
Range: Medium-Long
Medium-Long
Medium-Long
The SSIA Battlecruiser, class 'Resilient', is the primary battle unit of the SSIA Naval branch. What sets the Battlecruiser apart from its lighter counterpart, the Raider, is that the Battlecruiser was conceived after the time transfers. During the Main War, the SSIA had no blue-water navy, and with the destruction of the space-fleet, had nothing but RRV/Ts and Hover Tanks to spare for naval operations.

The SSIA Battlecruiser was designed to fight in blue-water, most notably against other blue-water ships and even submarines. The 'Resilient' class features an advanced armor package including torpedo shields, composite, impact resistant hull plating and absorption plates to provide protection from most anti-ship weapons.

The offensive capabilities of the 'Resilient' class lie in an advanced 125mm tri-cannon weapon system. The 125mm tri-cannon system functions on a single barrel and a revolutionary caching system which allows for the ship to fire three shells in rapid succession. To provide protection from submarine and airborne threats, an integrated sensor-missile launcher system is included on the ship. These are functions that no other SSIA vessel can take on.

Its very tall compared to the original, but if I showed you the Tesla Cruiser or EDF Destroyer, you'd say otherwise #Tongue

As for aerials, sure.

Hmmm... if the mod takes place in the mid 23rd century, wouldn't you think they'd evolve naval comm systems to be antenna-free? I mean, we already have ships like that in the works.

Eh, maybe one or two, but not a lot like on modern B-ships.

I think it is perfect the way it is. No need to alter it.

I can see what you mean with the way the hull widens, but no, it is not supposed to be amphibious.

The gray part near the waterline is what I labeled as a torpedo shield in my sketches.
