This is just me testing the screen video recorder thing... Its of me re-making my soviet ore generator... It took like 1 hour to do... its speeded up a bit... But still is a little long. And I should have closed MSN... Oh well.. Just ignore the other crap I was doing...

I did it once ages ago, I was going to implement rain and snow effects into Savage War all those years ago. gamemate made me a couple of quick animations and I shoved them ingame. Never got around to properly implementing it though.

The only way I have bothered to try to get these to work are with waypoints and triggers on a map.
Make a waypoint anywhere on the map (Start the number at 50... Or what ever floats your boat.) Then open your trigger editor, make a new trigger (Does not need to be repeating. I will show why a little lower), new event "13 Elapsed Time..." = 0, Or what ever you want, new action "41 Play Anim At..." = (animation XX rain) (waypoint XX).
Now you will have to do that multiple times with different waypoints and triggers to make it cover the area of the map you want.
the LoopCount will make it loop with out making the trigger loop. so if you done want it to loop just remove the Loop tags.
That will work as the snow one as well just rename rain to snow... Brain buster I know. >_<
now to Rules(MD).ini
In the [Animations] list I would add it more towered the top just so you can find it easer in FA2... I would stick after the first two in the list. just use "10=rain" "11=snow" or what ever, the number doesn't matter as long as its in the right spot.
