Hi guys, some of you might remember me from TibWeb. Since that's vanished I thought I'd join up here and share my work.

Well I tried my hands at a snow map and this is the result, features ion storms and my attempt at trying to get invisible green light posts to agree with the map - sort of works!

Check it out! Smile

How come it looks like badass desert in the screenies but is actually snow?

I did the lighting a yellowish tinge to make it seem more pre-storm like. Funny I never really thought of it that way.

Thanks for the re-welcomings TB and Aro. I can actually upload now! Amazing what changing bits on your computer can do Smile

Haha yeah, it initially came across as a desert to me as well - definitely not an unwelcome effect though! The map looks quite good from what I can see - the same for your other recently uploaded map, nicely done.

hmm looks pretty interesting and nice. I like the lighting as it is something different and manages to fit well IMO.
One thing I have to ask is this though....How the hell do you manage to play on that resolution? XD Honestly...I can't play on that small resolution where you can only see 4 unit cameos. If you can play on a higher one then I suggest it. You see more stuff. Thus pics are bigger and reveal more. Smile

Nice to see you back and about.
