Dutchy has spear headed the Yuri faction, first with his lasher tank and now he made a Gattling tank, which is shown below. It needs to be colored, but once I get it into anim8or, it will be golden (I basically have to do some stuff that involves copying all the point values into notepad and saving it as .obj, and then importing into anim8or, then do my editing in anim8or, and finally exporting into .3ds and back into gmax/renx for final touchups, and then I export for .w3d.)

Resizing, coloring, etc will be addressed.

Is it that much smaller than the Lasher? That's odd Neutral

Golden color? Well, I just hope it won't turn out like one used in "Red Alert 3" mod for ZH. That one was simply ugly. :O But then, it was more yellow than gold from what I remember. #Tongue

Wow thats nice, though it's rear is too boxy imo. Also will it's guns be pointing upwards or just straight ahead when not in use?

I know what you're thinking.....(because it can read minds, get it?)

I'm not too sure about the color scheme just yet, but I am pleased with the shape of the building. I know I haven't posted up too much media lately, but that is because I am doing alot of work coding wise now. Anyways, I think I am going to be focusing on Yuri right now, as the empire is becomming a little boring for me.

If you need another Yuri model just ask. I'm in a modelling mood these days (I've finally started working on my own Gen mod again #Tongue).

The base is too rectangular rather than square IMO.

I like it. It looks pretty similar to the original, although the orange is a little too... orange. Couldn't you go for the same colour as the tanks, that dull coppery/bronze colour?

Yeah, the color scheme does need to be worked on, as I said before. Whats wrong with it being rectangular vs square?

Anyways, here's a little WiP I worked tonight (most of my time tonight got chewed up going out). Again, I'm not sure what to do with Yuri's Color Scheme. He's got a lot of bricks, and I'm using solid colors.

EDIT: Here's the Gattling Tank, courtesy of Dutchygamer.

So long as the scheme stays the same throughout I'd say that this looks alright.

The shaders make a difference though, right?

Shaders? I don't think Generals supports shaderss (afaik).

Anyways, here's an ingame test of the conyard. The stuff off to the side was all pipes and little stuff in the original, but I hope you guys think it looks half decent here. I'm probably gonna do some resizing, as it looks smaller than the other con yards (ie: the foundation was scaled to be the same size, everything else looked small).

Colors are NOT final....

I thought that Generals naturally had shaders... Ah well, I have no experience modding it.

The yellow looks a little odd, but as long as the scheme is consistent I can't complain.

the MCV system in Genrals..
I thought it was buggy and/or caused a lot of lag. Has this been worked out?

Basically, right now I am using MCVs as dozers. But, if you're interested... http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22081

I can get the MCVs to deploy into ConYards; or Nanocores into any building I want. In terms of con yards building structures, I haven't really delved into that just yet.

well, that was a quick fix. All I had to do was make the clear glass and the rest of the building two seperate objects as opposed to one, and everything worked fine.

On a humorous note, I made a little mistake coding the slave Miner, and set the respawn rate for the slaves to 5 and the spawn amount number to 30. So I built three at the start of the math and all of a sudden I had 90 slaves! I of course rushed them all right into the enemies gattling gun.

How will the Magnetron work, DaFool? I can't find a parallel in Generals, so how much research has gone into it so far?

Here is DutchyGamer's Magnetron! It's a very nice model, and will serve the master well. Right now I just put it in as a EMC tank, so it's still using Magnets.... but I will later change it to it atleast does damage to buildings. There's one little normal error on the back, there's suppose to be a housecolor there, but I didn't notice it until it was too late. Anyways, everyone thank dutchy!

Okay, now turn it on its side, and make the particle cannon come out of its mouth XD

Seriously though, except for the surprised expression it looks quite accurate and fitting as a a toon version so far.

Our Benefactor wishes to remain undisclosed at the moment.

The mouth is actually a water slide that the infantry come down on their bellies, so no need to worry about ducking heads.
