Ive noticed that the bigger vehicles and buildings have better quality as far as images go, so is it possible to re-size everything in the game to bring out more detail, or will this wack everything out?

It usually wacks everything out. Although it should be easier to do once the feature codenamed 'modelizer' is finished. You'll be able to export your voxel file as model and re-import it with 3ds2vxl using a higher resolution. Any other kind of resize will provide bad results.
