Ok, so originally the terror drone was a unit that had a close range pilot snipe weapon, however I think the original way can be replicated. This potential method is based off of col. burton's demo charge.

An object can be placed onto another object and made to stick. As demonstrated by the chronoing/jumping unit method, using a weapon can both create a new object and get rid of the original, so it is possible that this demo charge like weapon can be placed on a vehicle and the original terror drone can go away, thus making appear that the terror drone jumped into the vehicle.

Going from this, the object that is stuck to the vehicle (lets call it the drone), the drone is stuck on the object. It can emit damage every so often so that the way the damage was dealt originally can be replicated. The drone itself can be designed so that it eventually kills itself, and thus can spawn another terror drone. This can be made so that a terror drone is only spawned by suicide damage, so killing the parent unit will destroy the drone (i think). I am not sure as to ways to remove the drone, but potentially I can look at the dozers methods oc clearing mines and booby traps.

My only concerned is how much damage should be emited and for what period of time, because of inconsistency among the health of all units, and I am not sure if I can have the terror drone spawned immediatly when the ifnected ehicles dies, or if ut has to have an absolute value in time.

Have you yet tested this, DaFool?
While it all seems nice and theoretically possible, there are always cases of things that just won't work.
