I had this working in the past. I believe I'm doing it correctly the same way I did it before. But for some reason it's giving me static now. Any clues as to what happening or not happening?

I've never used a Paint Shop Pro newer than the 6.0 #Tongue. So, there is a possibility that PSP 9 may have lightly changed the file format. Upload your PSP9 saved palette here and I'll figure out what's going on.

Ive included both types of palettes that PSP9 allows me to save it as. Both do not work.

The one the program supports is the .PspPalette file. The Microsoft palette is a completely different thing.

Now, here's the magic, my friend: rename the extension of the .PspPalette to .pal Wink.

That's also fine. Did you hack the program or edited the source code?

I edited the .exe with PE Explorer, and used the Resource editor function.

I'm looking for the source code of this program here, but, honestly, I can't find it.

I've created this program in 2003, when PPM was still at ppm.cncguild.net. I've never expected to patch it after 1.2.

I think there are means to extract the source code from Delphi programs, although I don't know how reliable they are and if they really get the whole thing or just the interface.

Arent these the source codes here? or is this just part of it.

Also, your alright with me doing this arent you? "changing the .exe"
I think I read in the read me that people were aloud to change it, but I want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong here.

You are not doing anything wrong. I'm just saying that the resource editor or whatever program that decodes delphi executables are not reliable to get the whole source code.

you didnt happen to find the source code yet, did you? I want to update it some more so that it reads jasc.pal, jasc.PspPalette, and Microsoft.pal.
