Chemical Missile

The Chemical Missile was a widely used Super Weapon during the Second Tiberian War, however after the betrayal of CABAL and loss of higher end technology, keeping up the maintanence for these weapons became too costly and too high maintanence. Many Waste Facilities simply became rotting shells of buildings bleached a sickly green from chemical Tiberium leakage. If the Waste Facilities were not destroyed by poor maintanence they were usually converted into Genesis Labs used for conducting Tiberium experiments and research. Some Waste Facilties still stand operational today and if captured can be used to create the original Chemical Missile.

One question. Will the missile have an explosive warhead like the original? In my opinion that made the gas clouds partially redundant as the explosion would kill off any infantry within range before the clouds could mutate them into deadly visceroids (and no one is dumb enough to purposefully send infantry into those gas clouds).

The chemical missile would have been better without the explosives, instead simply detonating not far above the ground level, spreading the gaseous substance and mutating as many infantry as there are inside the contamination radius.

Well I never really liked the original chemical missile to be honest, I would have much much preferred it if it were to be more based around mutation than warhead damage, so it's likely I'll do a lot of fiddling around with this, even if it's more of a special / occasional SW

Aww. I hope the relegation of the Chem Missile to tech building status doesn't mean all of Nod's Tiberium technology is going to be removed. That said, a gigantic visceroid maker rather then a damage doing chem missile=win.

Well, why not use the multi missile logic and make the chemical missile launch little warheads across a larger area that explode and create tiberium gas? This way, you fire it over a group of infantry, it forms almost a ring around them and gasses the survivors.
