In this thread I'll post images I make during the progress of the mod. I'll start with a random image I made yesterday when testing the new flame effects:

Some images fitting with the Structure updates I posted:

Hellfire Towers try-out (note: I've changed the field effects in the mean time).

Guardian Towers try-out.

Testing out some particle effects, and the progress of the Raden Assault Gun:

This is supposed to be a small flamethrower on top of a unit. I think I'll decrease the size of the flames a bit #Tongue
Also, many thanks to Failure for creating this public flamethrower FX.

Some images of how the Raden was textured. Also, notice the side armor I mentioned in the Unit description here

*Orac waits for image to load*
*Orac is impressed*

It looks good Dutchy, now it just needs a few nicks and dings and dirt around the trackguards-or-how-ever-they're-called, and things like rivets as seen on the other two tanks.

Definitely improved, though.

For some reason the style of units reminds me of Earth 2150.

Also Viking looks like KV-2.

Been a while since I uploaded a generic image, so here's what I have for now:

Some of the models I've skinned so far. Some may look familiar, other have finally received a skin. Also, a new Tech Structure stands in the middle...
Now I notice it: the Behemoth's skin looks less-detailed then those of the other Legion units. Might update that bugger...

Hehe, it's pretty effective at roasting enemy infantry, don't worry. Only they are in a bit of trouble when they meet tanks #Tongue

Comparison:
vGen Dragon Tank range: 75
FC Prometheus range: 90
Okay, it can shoot slightly further, but still it is outranged by most tank weapons, which are around 150 (and not mentioning base defence weapons, which are 200 - 225).

Looks like way too long range for fire weaponry IMO.

Real Flamethrowers have a range of like 50-80 meters, the ones you see in movies use propane, which makes that short fire effect.

I REALLY like the blue/gray/orange color scheme you got going on. Will all the units end up receiving a camo scheme like in the later pictures?

I wonder if it is possible for it to rotate it's turret in circles and spew the fire 360 degrees.

You will notice ingame that it's still awfully short compared to most weapons. Also, what DaFool said is true: while flamethrowers aren't exactly long-range weapons, they do have a decent range, compared to what most movies show to us.

Scorched Earth wrote:

For all Legion units this will be the colour scheme. All Revenant units will have the Brown/Grey/Green colour scheme

gufu wrote:

If you mean if it will have a turret, then I have to disappoint you. While the concept I based it from did had a turret, I decided to not give it one, as it's already powerful enough without one.

Small update:

In this image are the current vehicles of both armies. Legion in front, Revenant in the back. The units between the rows are units I once used, but scrapped during development.

I finally got rid of all the temp Generals models. Now all units have their own models. I also skinned most of the units. Still to be done:
-create new models for Supply Trucks
-add skin to Venom
-add details to skins
-fix tread textures on some vehicles (God, I hate fixing those =P )
-see if I can find another unit for Legion. I still feel they lack a radar or battle-lab tech vehicle that doesn't need any GenPoint to be unlocked.

Also, notice the repairing radius around the Valkyrie. It gives a quick feedback on how far it can repair vehicles.

Either this will be the new design for the Viking, or I may use it for a new Legion unit:

While the original idea was that this was the new art for the Viking, and the old KV-2 look would be scrapped, I now get some feedback that ppl actually liked the KV-2 look #Tongue

Well what is Litenium supposed to be? If those green chunks are meant to be crystals of sorts then IMO they should stick out at angles and some should be spiked.
