Marauder
Cost: 900
Prerequisite: Workshop, Field Radar
Role: APC, Anti-armour
Strengths: Versatile, fast speed, good at hit-and-run tactics
Weaknesses: Carry capacity of only 2
Sometimes the old tried and true designs just keep proving their worth. This is the case with the Marauder vehicle that is an upgraded version of the humvee, which GDI and other military forces have abandoned to make room for more modern military instruments. Since there is an ample supply of unused humvees, they are the perfect choise for the Forgotten and other mercenary and rebel factions. The Marauders are very fast, have great scouting abilities, and have an attached medium range missile launcher on the roof. Their fast speed combined with the missile launcher make them very good at hit-and-run tactics. The missile launchers fire anti-armour missiles, which cannot be used on air targets. In addition to all this, the Marauders are able to carry 2 infantry units in their back. All this versatility comes with a somewhat heavy price tag. Humvee changed. Its role has been changed from anti-infantry to hit-and-run anti-armour since it used to share a very similar role with the combat trike. Also forgotten had only one other dedicated anti-armour vehicle before (nomad tank). The profile information has been updated.
