this is where we put our ideas together.

here are the ideas from the other post

GDI

- vulcan pod - A light fast hover unit armed with a vulcan cannon
- titan - much like the one in tiberian sun but it is immune to viruses and cyborg control. it is manned and moves faster
- apc - like in tiberian sun but with bigger capacity and a fixed gun on the top, infantry can shoot out of it
- eagle tank - a hover unit which shoots 3 tracking rockets which can go quite a long distance, not as much as artilleries
- mobile information unit - fixed with an emp wave which disables vehicles and cyborgs , a mine removal function and a back up radar
- sensor array - a small hover drone which can detect enemy stealth units
- mcv - mobile construction yard
- harvester - a harvester like in previous cncs
- mlrs - a modified titan which has fixed rocket launchers on the side
- component tank - a vehicle which can be fixed with 3 components, a crystal cannon which fires crystals which shatter its target, a cutting disc which slices through waves of infantry or a large cannon which can be fitted with 2 infantry
- mkIII - a large 3 legged vehcile with wave guns and vulcan cannons and aa rocket launchers
- paralyser mine - a mine which temporaraly disables the unit

GDI INFANTRY

- Engineer - can capture enemy buildings
- HEavy Infantry - comes with a heavy vuclan cannon which is more deadly than light infantry, can put the gone on his back and climb cliffs
- Jumpjet Infantry - comes with a small hand held ion cannon which can do radius damage, best again structures, this unit can also fly
- Virus - can virus unmanned vehicles and cyborgs and cyborg controlled vehicles by hacking into the vehicle. the virus either causes the target to malfunction , crack up and go berszerk.

NOD

- Nod buggy - like the nod buggy in tiberian sun
- recon bike - like the the cycle in tiberian sun but it can be fitted with a cyborg demo whcih makes it into a the suicide bike
- vector tank - a tank fitted with a small anti tank shells,
- attack apc - the apc can deploy into a small bunker and can go subterranean
- flame tank - large tank which is suspended high by its too legs, the legs have tank tracks at the bottom. it can ride over mines and can crush paralyser mines

NOD CYBORGS

- cyborg T2- the normal cyborg has two twin vulcan cannons which tear infantry apart and which can damage vehicles, it can get its legs blown of so it has to scavenge for new legs and is immune to toxic gases. Can heal in tiberium. viruses can make it malfunction

- cyborg demo - like a suicide soldier but hato s all the feaures of a normal cyborg (legs blow off etc...) and can deploy into a mine. Viruses can make it malfunction

- cyborg devastator - the most lethal cyborg, it has all the features of a normal cyborg but is equipped with a devastatingplasma gun. It can hack into normal civilian or unmanned vehicles (including ones which have there pilot killed) and take them over, 2 at a time. Civilian vehicles can be used as transports or they can made to crash into vehicles caused a bit of damage.
It also has a virus overide which means it will stop functionning for a few seconds but will start functionning again. It can also scavenge for added weapons.

there will be more units than this.

GDI buildings are mobile and start of as vehicles
GDI deployed buildings have 2 components, a light or a vulcan cannon
nod buildings are build by construction bots or if we have the old sidebar they will be built by construction yards
nod obelisks can be globally upgraded to be able to shoot air, the aa laser isnt as deadly
nod laser turrets can be upgraded singularaly to have 2 turrets
nod war factorys are underground all u can see is the door.
nod emps are in the subterranean networks
nod sub networks are like tunnel networks

one of nods general abilitys will be to make a massive sub vehicle come out of the ground carrying lots of vehicles, when it comes out it deploys into a massive building. the units will exit. this building can be used to repair buildings and it will have a gun.

gdi will use droppods as escape vehicles as well as reinforcement vehicles.
jets will have droppods attatched to them and when the jet explodes the droppod detatches and crashes into the ground with the pilot

scrin will make an appearance in this mod. they will be first seen when they come out a scrin ship and ambush the gdi base around the scrin ship

GDI will be a more air based team and will have more hover units and drones

Cabal was destroyed by a gdi virus which was developed after firestorm. nod dissapeared underground and developed a new computer with a secure manual shutdown so it wont repeat the cabal incident and it is protected by a special anti virus which will stop gdi viruses. This anti virus was also put on the cyborg devastator.

When Cabal was destroyed and nod went underground gdi thought nod were dead but they were mistaken when they were ambushed by massive nod sub vehicles. Millions of these vehicles rose from underground destroying gdi bases. nod had started the third tiberium war.

scrin appear when the tacitus went missing after the collision of a scrin ship and a gdi satelite, both ships crashed onto earth. The crashed ships were guarded by a massive gdi site. The survivors of the scrin ship came out and were greated by gdi soldiers. All the gdi soldiers were killed and the site was destroyed by scrin. The scrin soldiers started building a base and started to attacking cities. The forgotten who had bases in the cities were furious and started angry mobs against the scrin, gdi and nod were caught in the fight and there was a massive fight. The fight was ended with massive casualties.

SUPERWEAPONS

Nod

reinforcements - one of nods general abilitys will be to make a massive sub vehicle come out of the ground carrying lots of vehicles, when it comes out it deploys into a massive building. the units will exit. this building can be used to repair buildings and it will have a gun. this vehicle was used when nod first appeared

emp - this isnt like the gdis emp. This is fired from nod subterranean tunnels, the cannon can be fired anywhere. when fired it sends a shockwave at its target and will disable any structure, vehicle or cyborg in the target radius. The radius is smaller than gdis but it will last for longer.

chemical missile - nods chemical missile is nods main missile weapon. The missile will explode and let out tiberium gas. The gas will kill infantry and infantry in vehicles. The missile can be upgraded to use gas from blue tiberium which is more lethal

missile - requires 1 general point, will allow missile silos to fire explosive missiles

GDI

ion cannon - like in tiberian sun

droppods - requires generals points. Will send reinforcement infantry in droppods

reinforcements - you can call in reinforcement vehicles which will be sent in by droppods

here r some more ideas

STRUCTURES

GDI

Construction Yard - is the only building which can redeploy, it is built from the war factory where it comes as an mcv. The cy is ur most important building, u build all the mobile units from here.

Power Plant - Like the power plant in tiberian sun with 3 component turbines, it starts with 1

Refinery - Works like all refineries in the cnc games but can be upgraded with 2 extra refinery ramps

Barracks - The place where u train infantry

Vulcan Tower - a tower which has a vulcan cannon on the top, can be upgraded to have its own attatched light post

Light Post - All defense structures need a light or a sensor array near them in night missions for them to find there target. If there isnt a light post near and you command the tower to attack it will start shooting everywhere trying to shoot the target. The only defense tower which doesnt need a light is the guard tower (it isnt buildable)

Pavement - comes in squares of 1X1 , 2X2 , 3X3 , 4X4. Pavement can stop subterranean vehicles from coming up in ur base.

Floor sensor - an invisible ground sensor which will detect any unit that runs over it

Sam Tower - A tower which shoots AA tracking rockets.

Chemical Bunker - a bunker to heal infantry in and to protect them from chemical weapons, vehicles also can hide in these

Concrete Wall - a concrete wall like in all cnc games

War Factory - A place where u can build vehicles

Radar Center - Gives a radar and new construction ops.

Power Field - A big power building which allows u to place power turbines on. 8 component places per building

Orcapad - Building where you can build and reload orcas

Advanced Vulcan Tower - 4 vulcan cannons twin linked, It can tear infantry and vehicles to shreds, not as powerful and an obelisk.

Tech Center - New advanced options available

Firestorm Shield Generator - The next generation of firestorm defense. It creates a massive impeneratable shield withould needing fs walls around the generator for a certain amount of time. The shield interferes with enemy sub, air units which are in the shield radius, they will explode.
Stealth units within the shield radius will be revealed

EMP Cannon - the gdi emp cannon has a bigger radius than the nod one but doesnt last as long, it also sends a small virus to cyborgs apart from the cyborg devastator which eats away at there health gradually.

Communication Center - the superweapons control center, the ion cannons and all the generals point weapons are controlled from here.

Repair bay - repairs vehicles

Dropship bay - works like a star port

NOD

Construction yard - nod counterpart to gdi conyard

Power Plant - Like the nod pp in tib sun

Refinery - Like the nod ref in tib sun

Hand Of Nod - Trains infantry

Laser Tower - Fires a small laser cannon. can be upgraded individually to have two laser cannons, it has a small fitted generator so it doesnt need power

Light Post - the same as the gdi light post

Pavement - like gdi pavement

Sam site - fires tracking aa rockets, hides away when not shooting like in tib dawn, this makes it difficult to spot.

War factory - it is underground, all u can see is the door where the units come out

Sub network - Like the gla tunnel network in generals but is fitted with an underground emp. Infantry and vehicles can be kept away from chem weapons although this isnt as strong as the gdi chemical bunker

Radar - Gives nod a radar and new construct ops

Foot of nod - cyborgs are created at the hand of nod but with this structure u can get light infantry or civilians and make them into cyborgs at a cheaper price than normal cyborg T2s.

Helipad - building where u land and create air units

Advanced power plant - nod advanced power plant

Tech Center - gives new tech

Tiberium research lab - gives new chemical tech and grows tib crystals inside so u get $100 every 40 seconds. also gives u the ability to infect part of the water damaging any hover or amphibious units that cross it

temple of nod - launches missiles, and controls general point superweapons

Obelisk - like obelisk in tib sun but can be upgraded globally to give it a small anti air laser, best against air infantry.

sounds good, but the flame tank will probably look funny, the way I'm imagining it, unless you pull it off a better way

i really don't agree to use the concept art taken from a portfolio to make " a sign for your mod"

i have a portfolio, and if people make " that " with my hard worked picture, i will be crazzy


OR at least modify it a lot to personalise it ... but using the original picture ... sucks and you can have problems with the rights

Very good, very good... i like the ideas Wink Although these units could use some working on:

-mobile information unit : needs a better name
-component tank : needs better upgrades, some more standard ones you know, like a cannon, not a disc..
-virus: this should really be a nod unit.

mobile information unit will have a better name

the component tank will keep the upgrades, making standard upgrades is a cheap and fast idea to thinkho of, kinda like what they would do in ra2

the virus is an enhanced emp, it destroys mines and disables cyborgs permanantly.

ive been to twilight initiative, v good side and ideas but with the generals engine it is impossible to make those ideas.

btw i have some more ideas,

NOD

Vehicles

Iyemis Magni - The Iyemis Magni i a strange vehicle, it uses a strange magnetic material which was found in a tiberium rock, it fires its projectiles using this magnetic force. The projectiles track the unit .then hook on to the unit and burn holes in the unit. this unit can pack a punch but the projectiles can be shot down. The magnet force also jams the enemy radar if the Iyemis Magni is close enough. If the enemy has 2 or more radars u need to put an Iyemis Magni near each radar. cyborg devastators can take control of the projectiles and make them explode. The projectiles are most affective against infantry

Scavenger - Very similar to the terror drone in ra2 apart from it kills the driver after the unit health has got down to red, it will then stop, u can only remove them by virusing your own vehicle or repairing it. Scavengers cant kill cyborgs or mutants. because they are hard to see to the naked eye your sensor array will automatically detect them

Morpheus - the morpheus is a simple unit that can disguise itself as any unit, as they are so cheap u can build an army of them and fool the enemy. they are armed with a normal vulcan cannon

Repair Drone - repairs vehicles, removes mines and scavengers from vehicles

GDI

Infantry

Heavy Infantry - UPDATE * - Heavy infantry use a heavy vulcan cannon, they can put their gun on back and carry infantry up cliffs. He cannot carry cyborgs up cliffs. Infantry sit on their backs. Only 1 infantry at a time

lol, it is a mod that puts TT in Generals thats why it used to be called TT/Gen

it wasnt me who had the idea 4 this mod. It was an idea 1-2 years ago which scrinlord suggested. lots of ppl liked the idea and it was getting really popular on tibsun.com. finalmoon ,firesnake ,beast of blight and others were posting up loads of ideas. we didnt even know if they were possible on generals cos it was in its early stages. but then the mod was abandoned. beast of blight went missing and there was rumors of suicide or sumthing. finalmoon decided to leave the cnc community and firesnake and the rest just vanished.

the mod was resurrected when generals was out but only me ,scrinlord and lrendall were the only ones posting. i think we were virtually the only ppl on the tiberiumsun.com boards.

yes, I think I posted once...

I have an idea for an air unit: A.D.P.- stands for ariel Defence Platform, and it could fire out missiles, or a laser, and it would hover in the air, but it could move around, but it would be very slow, and have light armor

an orca must be able to take it down but rocket infantry or a single mlrs mech cant take it down, 2 can just take it down. a mammoth mkIII can destroy it and end up having a third of its health remaining.

this is just to give a basic idea of how deadly it should be

on the other post "what do u think should be in TT Evo" ive posted up how to make a conyard which can build buildings in a set buildspace, not buildspace which gets enhanced when u build more buildings. im still working on it though and seeing if i can make it have less bugs.

ive also posted on how to restore the old sidebar

this is very good news and we may be able to make generals cnc style

by the way a lot of the ideas are like them, the sensor array is based on the whistler, there r a load of mechs, the cyborg devastator does loads of stuff which those drones do or what they look like they do. the mkIII does the same as the stomper does and more. i havent completely finished.

anyway i dont like copying other ppls ideas

I also think SAM missiles and Lasers are old. Think of somethink new like some kind of weierd energy that is released in the air that melts the pilot or somethink.

Or stealth air drones that detect enemy air units then it follows them and blows up but they should have disadvantages like they can't keep up with Banshees or sumthink.

there r loads of wierd energy forces and i havent even started on the scrin and mutants

the Iyemis Magni is a new energy force, it shoots projectiles which burn through the enemy tanks

the Component tank Crystal cannon shoots pieces of crystal that shatter and crack enemy tanks and break them apart

the ion trooper uses a hand held ion cannon

another thing which i never added is the component tank also uses a shockwave cannon which works similarily to the disruptor sonic ray but is slower at destroying but destroys in a larger area and lasts longer

the virus malfuctions robots, cyborgs and any nonmanned units

cyborg devastators use a very powerful force which blow light units away.

cyborg devastators may be powerful but dont stand much against an MKIII. the MKIII literally crushes other tanks and its energy cannon burns up buildings and units

hmm thats a good idea about stealth air drones, Nod air mines. they r stealth and when a air unit comes close the mine will explode. sensor arrays can detect them though. orca fighter and all aa weapons can destroy them

i have an idea of a nitrogun which freezes things but if gdi or nod have it might be a bit cheap and over lethal

maybe the forgotten could use a nitrogrenade on some missions which isnt like c4 but it actually makes a wave of dry ice which freezes infantry and vehicle tracks and tyres and electronics causing them not to be able to move

And perhapse some tank or infantry that can somehow create a huge crator then camerflarge it. Then when the enemy sends an army of ground units to your base they fall down the crator harharrrr and then there stuck so you can throw grenades down there or sumthink.

I think that would be a better defensive weapon, like an inverted stealth wall, and it covers a field, instead of just a row...

it isnt possible to be made. in generals you cant make things change the ground height etc...

you could have the holes already there in missions/maps

just dig a hole like normal

there would be a cover over the holes which looks like normal flat ground but when a unit crosses it falls in the hole and gets stuck and is open to grenade fire etc... in the holes there could be veins or possibly and ever lasting fire or just a pool of water where the units drown

another feature of this mod would be breakable ice like in tiberian sun apart from the ice doesnt regenerate

another feature of this mod would be breakable bridges which work like the ice but they would be repairable so you can continue breaking and repair bridges

true but in TT these veins are more lethal and are more like in the conscept picture, there are no veins just vein holes with lots of tentacles that crab at anything they can get at

water wont work for hover units. but they will get stuck

and i bet ur wondering how the hover units can make something collapse because they are above it and not putting there weight on it but the pressure from under the hover unit cracks the ice or breaks the cover ove the holes

In TS, when a hover unit was hit by an EMP, it would stop hovering, and fall to the ground, and then it would sink. Can we make hover units fall to the ground with an EMP in genrals? I would think its possible, but I dont know.

if nobody can get EMP working, here's an idea: We have worked around the problem of most high tech units being affected by the increesed ion storms; however, it is impossible for the emp to work durring one...
