I don't know if you already have music for D-Day, but may I suggest this 2004 game by Atari as a viable source? I personally like the music of this game very much, and since it's a WWII RTS, what mod would the music fit better than D-Day? However, it depends on how cautious you are about copyright issues on this matter.

The only problem might be that there is a lack of appropriate themes for the French and Italian sides. All of the major 5 sides are covered, and it's always possible to cross themes between the sides.

I'm actually already using Sfx & voices from A&A but not music. The music in D-day is a mix of stuff from CoD, MoH, CoH & film themes atm, it's not set in stone tho & I'm always open to ideas so I'll look into the A&A stuff later.

BTW big thx to Apollo who helped out a lot with Sfx/music for D-day.

The "song" would make a great main screen song.

I reckon the theme to "The Pacific" would make a cool main screen song.

If that doesn't set the mood for the Second World War, nothing will.

Ahh yes that is very good, made by the people who made band of brothers, another good one. As you can imagine, the Pacific is about the Pacific Theatre, BoB is about the European.

Some true-to-period music would be nice. What sort of things were hitting the charts back in the 40's?

I've added some side spesific period music as well...

America: Glenn Miller's When Johnny comes marching home

Britain: Colonel bogey march

Rusian: The sacred war

German: Panzerlied

Still thinking about the other sides if you lot have any ideas?

Search on YouTube for Song of the Plains. That's epic, and it's worth adding Wink

I can't recall however if you added it already in your beta, really.
