What do you think of an ability customize health bar for game objects?

Custom.HealthBar=infanty|unit|building|hide

It could be nice cosmetic touch. Like deployed vehicle shows unit health bar or vehicle with speed=0 could be made looking like building or custom made ore spawners could be done to show none.
Besides that it could help with faking some other logics or creating nicer workarounds.

nice idea
small extension

Healthbar.Width= [int] ;allows to set the width of the healthbar

Selectionbox.Width
Selectionbox.Height ;allows to give small and big units different sized selectionboxes

That would also require the hitbox to change, otherwise it would be impossible to select a normal unit inside an unit with changed seletionbox.

Can't follow too.
1 cell=1 unit=1 selection box.
Don't see the problem.

Selectionbox=the white rectangle around a selected unit.
It's not the bounding box for collision detection. Such thing doesn't exist in TS/RA2.

Yeah I think the selection box is more of a graphical effect in RA2/YR. To actually select an unit you would have to click the cell it resides in. Of course being able to have units larger than 1 cell would be useful as well and I think that one already has a blueprint in Ares Launchpad.

You can already use PixelSelectionBracketDelta=-9999 to remove the health bar on units BTW.

Also height=-9999 removes the health bar from buildings without adverse effects.

Useful for items like mines, etc

Does Height=-9999 not affect airborne units? I would imagine they'd fail to climb higher...

A height of -9999 would mean they either remain unaffected or sink into the ground. I guess the former.

Height=9999 produces amusing effects but fortunately negative values do not.
