Miners are a necessary workforce in the gathering unprocessed ore drilled out by extractors in key sectors or gem deposits around the vicinity. The Allied Nations have taken to outfitting their Miners with a Chronosphere allowing it to instantly zip back into a refinery for escape or transporting of resources. This does however hamper their carrying capacity causing them to carry much less than the Soviet War Miner.
