I'm curious about this code. It might be useful for tower defense game style maps, I would also want to create one as well too...

Code:

PowersUpBuilding=gactwr
PowersUpToLevel=3


I know powers up Building, like what it needs to give upgrade, consider SAM is an upgrade to component tower.

But PowersUpToLevel? What does it mean? Is it like, giving it three more upgrades before it becomes max out?

Also, I'm thinking like, if I want to make a tower defense game that you can upgrade the previous tower into a stronger tower, something like this.

Code:

PowersUpBuilding=gacsam
PowersUpToLevel=4


That will replace the old sam into a stronger sam tower. But can anyone explain about PowersUpToLevel?

Hmm, it gave me IE when I added new structure upgrade (SAM Upgrade 2)

component tower logic has many hardcoded restrictions.
-only one component tower can be done (no clones possible)
-only 3 different powerup turretimages possible. PowersUpToLevel defines which turretimage it should use (1=use MG turret image, 2= use RPG image, 3= use SAM image). You can however add a 4th upgrade that uses one of the 3 turret images but with a different weaponry
-changing an already placed upgrade is impossible
