in the last TS GDI mission, when ICBM timers come
I wished to double the timer as I made harder map to beat

so is this all I need to enter, or there is more to it ? (and what)

Yes, only that value should be changed.

I'm not sure what trigger is used to check whether it reached 0, it could be Westwood made it 'hardcoded' to enable a trigger which has Event 13 set to 7200.

Look for that, if you find a trigger with the following Event:
13 - Elapsed time @ 7200
Then change it to number 14.
If it is already set to 14 then it's OK.

Event number 14 checks whether the timer set, has reached 0. Meaning you can extend and shorten it all you like, the trigger will only fire when the timer actually reaches 0.

im bit confused with all this tho #Tongue
I see that Event and Action tabs have different values

whilst Action tab had originally 3600 (and I changed to 7200)
the Event tab has values

600, 60, 60 ,60 (since there are 4 missile timers)
last 3, do use under event: 13 Elapsed time
while 1st timer uses: 47 Elapsed scenario time

while 14 that you say I must change is: Mission Timer Expired
wouldn't that cause game over ?

Nope, Mission Timer expired will trigger when the mission timer hits zero. However, if another trigger is triggered and it cause the mission timer expired to be cancelled, then it will not trigger at all.

I suggest that you should play around it a little bit more before asking around that this is easy to answer.
