Sounds like a legitimate deal EA would try to make, and its more hilariously obvious when EA tries to deny it with "service closed".

if i am not mistaken TA is Tiberian Alliance. If so it was a cool game, free but you can buy points like any app. This was not an app, but a game. I was leader of my alliance we managed to get as high ranked as 17 before it the fan. I managed to secure alliances that help fend off some double crossing alliances. It became a bully fest with GD allinace causing ARES alliance grief. people started to leave the game and world 26 fell into chaos. I managed to get control of 14 accounts to keep my alliiance moving, hell i was my own allinace....They were up to World 78 when I left. If you can deal with and take on the bullies, it was good game. If you hate bullies and cant deal with them then stay away.

Most people still regret ever plaing that game. (in the forums, they are all negative about the game)
Also its veeery repetive after some weeks. I know, I played it for almost a year, and still I wish I didn't waste my time on that.
I would say it is almost as bad as C&C 4.
