Stu's Mod Manager v4.0 (TS Only Edition)
Im wondering if anyone would test this, it currently works perfectly, tho backing up any mod currently installed /ur working on is always recomended when installing a mod manager.
it has 53 built in images for the user to choose for a mod (since it doesn't require the mod maker to add any fancy stuff the user picks which image they want the mod to have in the viewing bit), currently the imagelist can only b changed by me(by editing the program).
i might try it a lil l8r, but i got to fix up a few problems im having with the ion commando on my aotc mod. btw in the screen the icons suite the mods _________________ Tiberian Eclipse for TW

im guessing there is more than one person who plays TS mods? or who are ppl making TS mods?).
Anyone want to test this mod manager? currently only i have tested it and i need ppl to give feedback on how well it does its job and how it could b improved, i know there is a 99% chance noone will find any errors since i have tested it very well.(there is a 100% garentee it can't screw up TS in any way, TS files are "illegal" for it. (it checks to see if the file is a known game file, the mian TS ones are programmed in)
Its much quicker than copying files by hand, its very reliable, it can detect mod files, it can add them to its self as a new mod, it can install and uninstall mods it installs, and it can delete any mod files in TS. Its "i don;t trust mod manager's" friendly with its own logging system every action is logged.
Note: a small bug was fixed yesterday, when installing a mod if you hit cancel when a "mod files found" pops up it will install the mod even tho you hit cancel. _________________ Free Map Editor - Game Requirements - Stucuk.Net QUICK_EDIT
You shouldn't have to do a thing, Stu's Mod Manager can Add mods in 3 ways. It was designed to be compatible with 99% of TS mods, but not having any "format".
1) Zip files
2) from a directory (it basicaly zips an entire directory)
3) from ur TS Dir, when u run a mod or hit clean if there is mod files u have 2 choices, delete the selected files, or add them to the manager as a mod.
Since the mod manager doesn't have a mod "format", there isn't a real way of being able to make a "TSR" only icon.
32x32 icons can b added to the program.
How large is ur mod? Would u mind it being 400-500kb bigger? If so Stusworld Mod Launcher(TS ONLY) may b the thing that would suit you, its basicaly a self extracting exe with a mini version of Stu's Mod Manager v4.0 with a custom interface. If ppl would like to try it i can put it up for download. Its only problem is it adds about 500kb to the total size(compaired to zip files) _________________ Free Map Editor - Game Requirements - Stucuk.Net QUICK_EDIT
