in the concepts, there were supposed to be 4 orcas at a pad. That featre was scrapped like a *million* other features...

yeah there was supposed to be four which would make it easier to manage them thats for sure. Westwood got lazy like they always do.

how could they be lazy? if they already modeled and textured it, that means that they put some work into and probably scrapped it because of balancing issues. its not hard to render the building to make it look as it would in game once the modeling and texturing is done

Maybe it was too difficult coding-wise. Although it would surprise me.
Balancing could be true, i mean one ion cannon and all four orca's are gone.

Tratos, that site burns the eyes. Well, I went through it, and just because some dude "modeled" it, or whatever doesn't mean they're going to do it. It just means the guy saw the pic and made his own rendition, and these....kids...think it's cool.
