The Idea
The idea behind this project is to make a Self extracting exe that has the ability to install mods to TS, detect mod files present that wern't installed by eather the mod launcher or Stu's Mod Manager 4. (and in the future offer a backup option).

The progress
Currently the actual Self Extracting exe prog (which is what the files are added to) is about 97% compleate (lacking the backup option), the program that creates the self extracting exe's just needs a decent interface editor, currently the interface has to b changed manualy (by altering values in a text file)

The benefits
The program can detect and remove mod files, it can install to the TS dir without being told where it is located. It has a customisable interface (main screen).

The drawbacks
There is only one drawback, it is about 800kb without any files in it, and it requires a 100kb (approx) dll to acompany it, tho if the mod is in the megabytes already another won't kill it.

Misc Info
The mod launcher is a cut down version of Stu's Mod Manager 4, its the portable little brother.

Im wondering if anyone would like to test this out?

SML Demo, it is a demonstration of what is created. It's "mod" is only a ini file called test.ini, but it shows how the mod launcher works.

Banshee u gona b on msn today? (so i can send the program to u?).

Small note: The background image can b any size, tho you don't want to go over 800x600 due to the resolutions ppl use. The program resizes the window to the size of the background.
