Armor: Light Vest
Firepower: 25 (Primary) / 60 (Secondary)
Primary: MK8 Assault Rifle
Secondary: Undermounted Grenade Launcher
Cost: 200
Strong vs: Infantry
Weak vs: Armor
Requirements: Allied Barracks
Restrictions: America
Special: Marine have 25% chance to fire grenade from the undermounted grenade launcher, dealing small Area of Effect damage.

Marine are the main foot unit of United States of America. Their objective is to help civilians and to eliminate surviving enemy targets.

Additional Information

  • At elite level, Marine gain Armor and Speed bonus.
  • At elite level, Marine now fires red-lighting bullets instead of yellow and base damage increased by 20%.

I can't figure out how you do the chances (like 25% of a grenade launch), though it's really a very interesting feature of your mod. I know you sent me the code for it, but it only makes sense for vehicles, not infantry.

I thought it uses EMEffect=yes on warhead with animdamage.

For the record, EMEffect=yes's only effect in YR is if set, a random animation is picked from AnimList instead of the fixed damage-based setup. (See http://modenc.renegadeprojects.com/AnimList ).

So in this particular case:
AnimList=PIFFPIFF,PIFFPIFF,PIFFPIFF,GRENEXPL #Tongue

Only problem I see is that there would be no veterancy gained from grenade (ie animation) kills.
