The score screen is using a pcx file, which has an internal stored palette.
These animations use the palette of the pcx file.
XCC Mixer has iirc a function to export a palette from a pcx file. So you just have to export the palette and then use this to view the anims. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings

so...
I did this
right click on that image (globe) in this case
copy as pcx
then rclick on that globe.pcx
copy as pal
then inserted that new (globe.pal) into expand02.mix
xcc mixer has it on the list
but image with that new PAL is still f'cked up _________________
the score screen is already pcx format

so... heres what I did
since that collection of pal's screwed up my xcc list (yes I did all correctly with paths)
I extracted only TS pals MIX, named it Palettes.mix
then moved it in westwood\sun
XCC finds it, reads it all is great, those pictures show OK
BUT
many filenames within mixes lose names and get random characters

First time i hear that the All Palettes tutorial screws up anything.
What xcc list are you talking about?
No clue why you make a 1 minute job that complicated.
It's just copying that LKOccallpal.mix into the XCC folder and adjusting a path in the settings. (all described in the tutorial)
If XCC worked before, then it also works after that.
Damn windows hiding file extension in explorer. How can someone work with that?
Set in the properties the path on TD Primary only, so you don't have it under RA too.
No clue why you have empty entries there, works fine for me. Though i only have View->Palet->Tiberian Dawn
I don't have Tiberian Sun with registry crap installed, so XCC can't find a TS folder on itself. Since i don't have any path under RA, there is no Red Alert menu under View->Palet
So for me, all the Dune, Nox, Earth 2 etc folder are all empty and don't even open.
Using View->Palet-> Game-> palet is also way too inconvenient.
Press ctrl+p, see attached pic.
Fast, easy, good overview.
You also use ctrl+"+" and ctrl+ü (on german keyboard) for quick changing through the palettes.
i think it's ctrl+[ and ctrl+] on english keyboards.
