Does anyone know the purpose of this entry?

We have [VEINHOLE], we have [VEINS], does the DUMMY have any purpose? Mission cinematics maybe? But then why the weird Image=?

I assume it's an unused leftover from an early state, where the veinhole monster was an Overlay like Veins, and got obsolete when they added the TerrainType VEINTREE.

On the other hand, FinalSun shows some Overlays 0xb2 with no image direct around the center veinhole monster. Those could be the dummies and have something to do with the veins spread logic, starting in 1 cell distance to the center.
Maybe they also prevent the VEINS from growing back in the center into the veinhole monster itself, which would otherwise kill the monster by its own veins.
So it's just an invisible Overlay that prevents any other overlay from occupying the same cell.
