Hi guys,
quite some time ago.. maybe a year or two ago I was playing DTA (not sure which build version) and enjoying the alternate PS1 music with vocals on PC. I noticed they are not present in the current build. The tracks I am referring to are No Mercy, Just Do it Up, Act on instinct, In Trouble, We will Stop Them and To be Feared)

I did read in another thread that they may be included as an option to enable it. Just wondering if there has been any progress with such a feature?

Also is it possible for me to somehow edit the current scores.mix to include the vocal tracks? I wouldn't want to dig up an older scores.mix and just replace the current one as I do like having the Red Alert tracks in the current build. I'm happy to export them from older files and import to a new one if anyone has some advice on how to do so.

Keep up the great work guys

Yes, you can with XCC Mixer. Do you have the vocal tracks somewhere? If they're in another scores.mix, use XCC Mixer to extract the songs from that .mix file. If you want to replace the existing tracks that lack vocals, open the DTA scores.mix and move (just drag & drop) the vocal tracks to the scores.mix. Make sure your vocal tracks have the same filenames as the ones you want to replace.

Otherwise, if you want to keep both tracks, you can either move the files to scores.mix (make sure they don't replace the existing ones) or create a new .mix file (ecache*.mix). In this case you will also have to edit Theme.ini or Theme01.ini to include the new tracks.

@Crimsonum  Aweomse. Sounds easy enough. Now I just need to locate a version of DTA that included those vocal tracks. I used to have it but looks like my earliest version is DTA_1.1212.  The older scores.mix was sometime before then I assume. Is there an archive somewhere that goes back further than ModDB?

Sorry, but DTA never included those vocal tracks. You need to find them from somewhere, maybe Bittah has them.
