A few bugs, or so it seems
Subject description: Mission and engine bugs I've found so far
Hello and many thanks for you amazing work!
I'd love to report a few things I've noticed so far:
1) in the co-op "Experiment lab" mission, the trigger that halts the reinforcements of chemical hovercraft after the lab is destroyed seems broken. Neither the text (and the last objective) appears (I knew about the intended behavior only by looking into the map source file), nor the reinforcements flow stops.
2) For some reason, I can't select resolutions above 1920x1200. If there is no real reason behind this, I'd love to have that possibility, as I belive that big screens for old RTS games are almost as amazing as they are for Visual Studio. If there IS a proper reason (which I know is not the case for Yuri's Revenge, I play it with 2560x1600 screen reso all the time), then I guess, I'll just have to stick with 1920x1200.
3) The pause menu disappears after saving the game. To continue, you need to click the now-invisible "Resume mission" button. I am using the "IE-DDRAW" renderer, as the other ones work far worse (just for me, of course). QUICK_EDIT
Rampastring will have to answer the first question for you since he made the mission, but resolutions with a height that's greater than 1200 pixels are currently intentionally hidden because they cause the game to crash. The reason for this is apparently that the game tries to display more cameos at the same time than what's allowed and while there is a work-around to get it display fewer cameos at the same time (by editing side3.shp), the client currently doesn't support this.
The issue with the pause menu is related to the selected renderer, so there's no there's no way to solve this other than by changing the renderer. We do plan on adding another renderer in a future update though, so maybe that one will work better for you. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
