I was just thinking about the idea of a C&C board game made through Tabletop Simulator. I just kind of wanted to hear thoughts on this.

What scope were you thinking of?  Something along the lines of a skirmish recreating the feel of an RTS?  Something more high level like risk but with different types of units?  A dungeon crawl with heroes more like Ra1 Tanya levels?  I've been playing around with the idea of a risk like meta game (see my post in the off topic forum). If I start with risk rules, I could spice it up with adding a deck of cards with support powers (airstrikes, artillery strikes, paratrooper reinforcements, frenzy (plus 1 attack to the dice roll or something), teleport, etc.  I could make the units be like civ units- different attack.defend.movement values, so a rifleman could be 1/1/1, while a mammoth task could be 10/10/2 or something like that.  Could make several terrain types (mountain, urban, countryside) and given each certain bonuses and penalties (defensive bonus and movement penalty for mountain, infantry defensive bonus for urban, etc).  Certain territories could have bonus structures like oil Derrick's, airfields, forts, and ports.

I was thinking along the lines of 4v4 GDI vs Nod in a Tiberian Sun style global environment.
