[Request] Can anyone please make some vxl models for me? :(
Can anyone make the vxl models of the Retribution, Tigris and Olympus Mons from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and the Battlefleet Megazord (both in water and on land) from Power Ranger for me please? I can't make them because I'm so useless
I need them for my mod, I'll be grateful if someone help me QUICK_EDIT
That's a ridiculous price for ONE VXL-remake.

That's actually pretty cheap for probably around 10-15 hours of work needed. If you go by the average minimum wage of USA/EU then he should be asking more like 100$ per vxl. _________________

At least 2 things you can do like me (needs self excercising), but my style, you may hate it, so you cannot choose me, at least i could make voxels and attach effect animations, you can only choose me for the attacheffect anim. _________________ If you are a MetalHead (Heavy Metal Fan) and don't want to be a metalhead, Just remove your metal ball from your head. :p .

Is not hard to make voxels, obviously you need to practice, but start with smaller voxels, like civ vehicles or tanks, then when you feel confident enough move to the next step, bigger voxels. Just don't rush it
I was the worst with voxels once... But I keep trying a now I think I'm not bad at all. QUICK_EDIT

Same as playing guitar like me exactly. _________________ If you are a MetalHead (Heavy Metal Fan) and don't want to be a metalhead, Just remove your metal ball from your head. :p .
QUICK_EDIT
ive given up on making voxels in the voxel section editor,my head just cant handle its design, all those screens. i just use blender and import 3d models, as long as you stick to simplictic shapes its ok and quite hard to tell its a conversion with the right materials setup., using curves and angles its quite noticeable on the other hand and will require clean up in voxel section editor.
it is so frustrating when the voxel looks so good in voxel section editor, but then looks so bad in game, over detailed messy fests.be warned. QUICK_EDIT
Voxeling is at its core just 3D Pixel Art work. If you play Minecraft and do those giant remakes you can probably do it as well on VXLSE _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT
You could bribe people into making Voxels for you. Just sayin because money and property can solve a lot of temporary problems.
If not, then you might as well get into 3DS max. That's how the majority of good modellers start with, even on many platforms of game designing. It's like art, practice makes perfect.
Actually why I am going offtopic? Oh right, its too time consuming, making Voxels takes a lot of work, around 10-15 hours per Voxel, thus a lot of Voxellers are unmotivated to do it for free.
SEMI-OFFTOPIC: Even practicing depend on your age by how long you need to practice on SOME OF THINGS, if you are teenager like me you might need less time than an adult (for example the guitar), while some of things adult take less time than teenager (for example high science study). _________________ If you are a MetalHead (Heavy Metal Fan) and don't want to be a metalhead, Just remove your metal ball from your head. :p .

Pretty sure I did the Lodekka from 5-Pack #2 within/around three hours, on a Sunday afternoon while I was sitting in the library and noone came in. And I can't use the texturing tool pretty much, so I don't texture voxels with Photoshop or similar, but doing them by hand in VXLSE. _________________ "If you didn't get angry and mad and frustrated, that means you don't care about the end result, and are doing something wrong." - Greg Kroah-Hartman

A few hours for a civ car is pretty normal, Vqtrung is asking for multiple aircraft carrier spaceships & a giant animated power rangers mech tho... _________________

Voxels take 10-15 hours ? huh it usually take me less than that. it take me around 4-6 hours at max.
2 - 3 or 4 hours for rendering the damn thing.
1 or 2 - 2 Or 3 hours for texturing it.
Tho texture wise it depends on what kind of style that you chose as I settled for my own style in which I use 3 colours of particular colour side which involves high contrast for and other metallic colours with remaps example:
I find this way fast and effective since I came to dislike using gradients because often I see it to lose detail in way, plus you need to play with Ra2 unit lighting and the vpl to get the best out of it ( I think ) in which its a goddamn hassle in it self.
But for styles like Azri's in which I used to base my work on it, he used lots of gradients colouring and sorts of patterning in which for the top he uses bright colours and in the sides he uses gradients also with some bits of colouring all around the voxel in which he is not alone. To use such method of which I think these methods takes time as you need to pay attention on colouring for the voxel specifically nitpicki colouring for those bits around the voxel.
And plus to add more time to it if the voxel was not mirrored in which it is better not make it mirrored otherwise it will be boring or downright mundane for some voxels. QUICK_EDIT

Yeah, that's true, I'm Grade 7 and yet, I made pretty good looking edits, and now I'll start posting original work tomorrow, just PRACTICE and STUDY voxels by voxel artists you admire the most (Not your Crush. I studied Atomic_Noodles's voxels, just look at my War Factory! ) _________________ all my posts before 2020 were made by a 13 year-old, forgive these if you see any, thank you QUICK_EDIT
ANOTHER OFFTOPIC: My 1st big model created using blender! (Resized smaller to avoid being spoilered) this one took me an hour due to its small size compared to the toy and scrapped robot versions, the 3 entirely took me 3.5 days to finish, total 4 days for rendering, the toy version has the most details, this is why it looks better than the minion and robot versions.
So will vtrung be able to do this for the 1st time? nope, you need 7 months total to be excellent.

i actually find modeling in blender rather easy, but it has taken me a year to get to this point. voxeling though is beyond me,
and why the hell does it take 4 days to render that model of yours, for use in C&C mods(ra2 and ts at least) you dont need to render, just export as 3ds and use 3ds2vxl program,
this took just a few hours to make and then convert to voxel,
but as you can see, 3d conversions still require some work in the section editor.work that my brain cant fathom, (yet)

I mean modeling, detailing, world edits and rendering all the five took me 4 days, 3.5 days for modeling, 4 minutes world editing, 0.5 days for rendering, the endoskeleton took me few hours (below).
