China Loadscreen ^^^ with Cosmonaut (Classic style)

Thanks to this forum, My game now has +1 Country ^^^ China - with cosmonaut. Programmed cosmonaut for AI both attack and defence. I have given yuri back his squid, moving it to tech level 2 requiring psychic radar, pushed boomer to battle lab and tech 5. Given The soviets a stingray (for squid removal) at battlelab (like dolphin) light armoured ship having now all tesla weapons able to remove squid (including coils and shocktroopers)

Now he has an Idle rev and Throttle animation for movement on water. Original concept/design from MADHQ. Resized jetski, recoloured soviet scheme. Fixed terrorist head position on some frames. Sequence completed.

With more changes coming, I will keep updated in this thread.

The tunnel mechanic itself is working very well but the problem is coming in figuring out how to balance this as a nation unique unit.

For added effect, The tunnel is going to voice command when selected and voice command when deployed. It will likely use Ra3 Imperial warrior Garrison and Run voice lines. E.g "Hurry, Inside" and "Go!"


I also added AI + voice commands for the Korean Twin V3. Going to perfect these nations with competitive gameplay in mind before continuing expansion of country-list.

Playing with ares tunnel logic, found out it is possible to combine MaxNumberOccupants=2
CanOccupyFire=yes with tunnel logic - despite tunnel logic being said not to work with weapons ^^ this is not a weapon.

Having these tags on the end of your tunnel enterance building will allow two E1, E2 or Initiates to fire out when garrisoned. They will also hold position in the tunnel when other enterances are evacuated.

Having two garrisonable positions limits the number of conscripts garrisoned that can fire out.

This will be KEY to making AI use tunnels in a more sophisticated way than just placing buildings.

For example :

My tunnel allows 24 infantry inside its network in total and there are only two posts available to garrison at each tunnel. And these posts MUST be filled with conscripts, gi's or initiates - same as any other garrisonable structure.

Again these guys hold position when other enterances are evacuated but will evacuate at the enetrance they hold with the rest of the tunnel crew when tasked to do so.


Playing with AImd.ini logic on EnterBioReactor, EnterGrinder, GarrisonBattlebunker, EnterGarrison logic to try and force usage of the tunnels, or to at least to store a capacity of infantry within them - but I can only get the AI to garrison them as they would battlebunkers, which is to some effect great - but trying to force a tesla trooper in - on the basis he thinks it is a garrison is not allowed. To get a tesla trooper in it would need to have its own AI definition, namely an  EnterTunnelNetwork= tag in AIMD.

So, you whack 24 GI's in, and on the other end 22 deploy as they should, the other 2 stay garrisoned..

The Tesla troops wont be subject to this, the Garrison logic seems to have priority in this case, as it probably should.

Might be worth fixing though.

No, you do not understand.

Occupiers = Yes assinged infantry take up the 2 garrison pip slots.
All other infantry enter the structure as if it were a tunnel. - with conscripts an exception as they have Occupier yes and so will only enter the 24 capacity tunnel network once the two garrison pips of that entrance have been filled first. If not it would want to fill them or - remain stationed at the tunnel enterance. Once you have filled garrison capacity you can continue to feed conscripts into the tunnel network itself from that entrance.

it works fine it just needs AI code.

Ukraine version 1 - Loadscreen + Flag





Ukraine + Mad Tank Story -
The MAD tank is a heavy effect weapon that utilizes seismic technology mounted on scrap mammoth chasis's from the first great war.
The seismic hammer used is so effective at creating shockwaves that soviet engineers could not design a vehicle strong enough to deliver and withstand its impact in a single unit. Attempts to increase the quality of chasis proved useless as engine parts were still highly vulnerable to damage when firing the weapon. Towards the end of the second war, as the allies grew more powerful and eventually captured Yuri - still in pact with the allies yet with forces running dry - and USSR showing signs of collapse - Ukraine quickly fielded the MAD tank to "even out the playing field" on the view that the soviet union came out of the allied truce financially and militaristically worse off. The MAD tank has been resurrected to amend this issue and would be used on Ukraines European neighbours if a new deal could not be negotiated

Looks great ingame but cant take ingame screenshots :/

Trying to keep Madtank as classic as possible, even the price 2300 - meaning it will be the most expensive and most devastating unique unit in the game but tricky to use. Also, it is upgraded from RA1 predecessor and now deals damage to infantry but only at 1% - 40% buildings + 45% vehicles - 0% aircraft for up to a ten cell radius from detonation site. It will also only explode on deployment - it will not acquire its own targets - and it will not fire the weapon if killed. So is not at all like the Libyan Demolition Truck, who deals heavy anti-infantry cellspread and immediate damage in all conditions.

My original concept design for Ukraine debated over the Phase Transport or the MAD Tank. As I am not a fan of stealth units - as they require a specific counter I chose the MAD tank for this rendition. The Phase Transport may return to play a later role as being the only stealth unit in the game, again - keeping its classic RA1 single passenger spot *for boris or ivan on seal missions #Tongue #Tongue #Tongue* we will see what to do about the Phase Transport in the future.


Plans for Allied nations include - x3 additions

Canada, South Africa, Australia  + potential 4th - Japan

China + Cosmonaut Story -
In admiration of the latest soviet achievements in space exploration and their infamous moon landing - the Chinese; who had kept their influence in the war to a minimum due to its trade deals with the allies in the west - now become one of the wealthiest benefactors to the soviet union and proud communist nation; had decided to themselves fund the space agency for their own private use, eventually flat out buying it off the USSR helping Russia to negate some of the financial reckoning caused by the war.
Prepared to aid the war effort if needs be - China trains thousands of cosmonauts for both utility and infantry combat in the vacuum of space - not in hope to achieve war and global domination - but to carry forth the legacy of the soviet union and the people of china deep into the future.

North Korean Loadscreen with Twin V3


North Korea + Twin V3 Story -

Following the Allied peace treaty and the rise of Yuri, Soviet forces moved into Korea to defend the blackeagles against Yuri's naval forces on their home soil.
Soviet influence over the Korean people during this period were met with great admiration and respect. Communist ideals soon circulated and it wasnt long before arose a political party with the intent to liberate Korea from Japanese rule that such became known as  - the peoples republic of Korea.
The power stuggle between Allied and Soviet influence over the nation grew ever more fierce with time, and by the time Yuri had been captured heated accusations were being made that the soviet union was deliberately pushing an agenda in korea to destabilize the empire to damage allied relations in the east. Eventually these debates ended with an eventual divide between the North and South and the construction of a wall, and with it came not protection, but even more paranoia.
As the USSR demanded a higher share of post war treaty benefits from the allies - it wasnt long before North Korea decided to take matters into its own hands and decided to do some weapons research of its own where North Korean engineers developed from old soviet designs - The V3 Twin Missile Platform; a two in one unit - the most deadly mobile ranged unit the world had ever seen.

The twin v3 uses voicelines from the generals Nuke Cannon. Some of these voicelines have been edited to better fit the unit.

Currently the twin v3 has 13 voice lines including 6 attack commands, 5 select commands, and 2 movement commands.

Voicelines are as follows -

Select Command voice lines -
1. "The Mother of All Weapons"
2. "Warheads Preserved"
3. "We will be generous"
4. "Where shall we prepare?"
5.  "Be careful, she's fragile"

Movement Command Voice Lines -
1. "We must be patient"
2. "Presious Cargo"

Attack Command Voice Lines -
1. "Brace Yourselves"
2. "Morning Glory"
3. "They will never forget"
4. "This Day is to be remembered"
5. "The Final Word"
6. "We bare gifts"

About the Unit:
The twin v3 is designed to be a two-in-one unit. Double strength, and double the armor (light+light=medium - same as harv), double the size (for transports) and most importantly double the firepower - by means of twin  missiles. The unit receives no speed bonus and costs 1600 - double that of the v3 (in which it obsoletes - replaces - like blackeagle). This forces North Korea into a late siege, they are slower to get v3s on the field - but when they do - they dominate. They receive a greater cost reduction discount with the industrial plant than would buying two single launchers but have initially an increased cost when fielding, forcing North Korea into power during the late game by limiting their rush.

Note: Yuri is not dead in this mod, The Yuri saga is not over - and Yuri will gain a new country as have the allies and soviets - but he will gain only 1 country. In the story as of now, Yuri himself will remain imprisoned in the psychic isolation chamber. The new planned Yuri faction follows a -- unique faction (as all yuri factions are unique) but this one is a faction set - post war (after yuri has been captured) And this force will be very much WW2 Nazi UFO, Moon Antarctic Base Conspiracy Theory. Lots of fun and perhaps even some Zombie + Supersoldier mayhem. It will basically bring a Nazi style faction, of which is one of the reasons I am reluctant to include Italy or Japan as playable allied nations.
