Hello mortals! I just made new classic monster for YR Halloween thematics. This time it is vampire.
Credit comes to Madeke as well for bat parts. This vampire has dead white/grey skin (edited spy) with red eyes. In idle frames he is turning into bat. In attack frames he got wings. He supposed to shot red sonic weapon (since TS and RA2 use sonic weapons, and also bats are using some noise frequency for movement and detection) as his eyes are red and I did not have much of idea what attack to make for him.

Unti-to-Unit transformation would work via Ares (flying sonic bat and melee vampire) but is there a way to make him heal himself when he kills people?

Yeah, good idea, I was thinking about similar as well, but I do not know if infantry to infantry works well (vehicle to vehicle works, but flying to flying is buggy). Also, regarding leech/vampire weapon, healing as vampiric aura in WC3 (restoring hit points each time unit attacks enemy) works, there is tutorial, but I never tested it as well. I heard that it is also buggy, that it will heal unit if attacks empty ground too.

The heal on kill would be easy enough with Ares, giving every unit a death weapon that heals only Armor=vampire units.

I did request a "Heal" weapon for ARES a long time ago, I wanted it to be "Heal by damage" not by death as 4SG suggested.

Red Resurection mod have Grinder tank that can heal though damage, you can check rulesrr.ini file to understand.
