This tool is still being worked on...
I know I havent been posting much about this tool, because I wasnt touching on it in these latest weeks full of tests from my universities. Today, I worked a bit on it again. In the moment, I'm still improving the way it opens and save files, but I'm still getting some pointer problems... I'm also having problems with the way some shp deals with shadows when I try to open them, as the new way that it uses to read subtract the offset from the next frame with the offset from the current frame, however, when it reachs shadow frames in RA2, the offset is set to 0 , which technically fucks up the process. I already have some solutions for it in mind, but I still need to apply it. (basically by comparing the offsets from the equivalent non-shadow frame and its next frame). Sometimes when I save specific files with compression 3, I'm also getting some pointer errors. But don't worry... even if the first beta isn't perfect, I've added an option in the preferences, where you can set your favourite way to load and save files, so you can set the old way and avoid the problems... Yes, it will. I have to finish the following things before releasing:
- making sure that tool doesn't open more than one copy of itself, specially when you open files through Windows Explorer or similar stuff.
- fixing the values from the new autoshadows tool
- and other few minor things... _________________
