2 The DvD: With TMP Editor. But they are based on old ones. There are two 2x2 TMP files on screen, modified copy of 0038 (Pavement). Any way, TMP code inside without changes. They are unused and "just present" in my tile set.

2 TerroR: Sorry, pal. I dont now (yet) whats mean "pwn"

Thanx SMIFFGIG.

- I've used cameo from scr-shot, hands and brain Very Happy
- No. I've made only temperate and snow images. No build up. No Active anims. No even cameo. Because i've planed it like civ building.
BTW I've upload it for public download this summer on TumSun forum. Where are you been before this moment?

http://www.tiberiumsun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1489

PS. Someone can put it to download section now? Rolling Eyes

PPS Sorry for my English again. Embarassed

Actually, no. These things are perfectly OK. It's the vehicle itself that is drawn too low.

Just put it in the repair bay; you'll see.

Picking the unit up with a chinook again and then releasing it by clicking the Deploy cursor on the Chinook fixes the bug.

Gangster, where can i get those buildings. TD style Refineries and that thing south-west of the tech center (i need it's buildup). Also, where can i get your temperate versions of the snow buildings? the're really nice! Surprised

I have it too, i'll upload it if you want but it has no buildup. I hope Gangster has the buildup. I also want him to give me the TD refinery (the one in the game not the one with blue around it. Very Happy ).

EDIT: oops forgeot the building. Embarassed Also, the Command Center was supposed to call upon reinforcements by drop pods. (DvD has an image of it with a drop pod node in the center instead of the statue wich he put in TSTW but it was cut from the complete image Sad.) I also made a Retro-style icon and an original one for the building.

EDIT2: DAMN! I forgot the snow frames! #Mad

Fist of all.
Maybe we should talk about my artwork at Graphics Hut section? Rolling Eyes Ask me there next time, ok? Wink

2 Alex05

1) Beta Tech Center. Ive already said that i havnt extra anims... At all. Ive ONLY made TEMPERATE and SNOW frames (that youve uploaded above).

2) TD Refinery. I havent finished it yet. Its still required bib, damage frames n buildup. There are to ways 2 have it:
Fist. I can upload a 3D model of it n you can finish it by yourself.
Second. You can wait and pray. Very Happy

3) Civ Buildings. I have only two complete buildings. I'll upload them at Graphics Hut section in day or two. Wink

4) Misc. Maybe ill upload some misc stuff, like Hand of Nod with bib or
Original Nod pyramid n tiberium silo... i dont know. Ive start them already but i havent enough time to finish it right now

PS Have anyone the hi-res image of TD Adv Guard Tower (not Renegade one)?

Yup.. I havent paid attention to that. You're right.

In these cases, the best thing to do is to make their turrets useless by attacking through another way... or... start taking his harvesters.... sometime he would need to start selling turrets O.o.

the new concrete wall is Cool but the nuke missile looks a bit wierd, I understand you can make it vertical cos this isn't RA2 but perhaps the missile should be more dark grey and have a exhaust flare instead of durasmoke trailer or whatever.

Also low tech wars are wierd, guard towers are only really good against infantry from personal experience, also do both sides get rocket soldiers but on different tech levels (like in singleplayer) or is this orignal multiplayer (which I haven't played)

making it dark grey is no big problem, but what do you mean with 'exhaust flare'? sorry but my english is average...

guard tower is just like bunker in RA1. It is MEANT to be good against infantry only. In TD, it did not even have a chance against buggies because its mg had lwer range.

and yes, this is original multiplayer about the rocket soldiers. to make each side get them on different techlevels I would have to duplicate it, and then if you capture the enemies hon/barrack you would have two identical rocket soldiers.

also, in singleplayer grenadiers and flamer infantry had different techlevels also, nod didn't have apaches, didn't have chem troopers, didn't have ssms, didn't have apcs...

if we would make the game like singleplayer Nod would be in disadvantage, that's why WW did it this way in MP, and they were right about it.

okay cool ^__^ but I thought everyone said Nod pawn too badly?

I'm sure buggies got owned by guard towers, I thing recon bikes and definately artillery had longer range but in the "old" days, most people rely on splash (area damage) to kill enemy defenses ...

exhaust flare, is a little fire that appears behind the engine, its hard to think of a example but the GPS Satellite in RA1 had a little blue fire behinds its back.

that's difficult, because th missile isn't an 2D image, and you can't draw flames on voxels (or at least they wouldn't move and that wouldn't look good).

and yes, this is original multiplayer about the rocket soldiers. to make each side get them on different techlevels I would have to duplicate it, and then if you capture the enemies hon/barrack you would have two identical rocket soldiers.

Talking about capturing... you should NOT be able to capture the Temple and ACC. I thought that'd be fixed in 2.3 Confused

Umm... I don't know about that... installing a program twice gives unpredictable results in the registry...

It doesnt, Nyerguds. I have more than 7 TS copies here and I dont have any problems. You just need to install it once. Then, you simply copy the TS dir.

Nyerguds talked about installing, not copying Wink

Altough TS setup would detect existing installs and refuse to work.

Btw, sexy walls u got there...

Nope, DvD, you got it wrong. I could install TS 5 times on my comp. #Tongue I explored the TS disks and ran "setup.exe" entered the cd key, accepted the license, set a directory and it installed the game. I did it 5 times. It works. TS uses no registry keys. The single C&C game using registry keys is generals. TS uses no registry key because i can actually put the CD in each of my 2 different drives and it works on both. A game using registry keys would only work with the drive it's been installed from and it can only be installed once. (generals uses a data folder in My documents that's why.) So, i am right. Very Happy

Yes... you'll have trouble UNINSTALLING because the registry stores only one install path. And if you run updates, only the one you installed last will be updated.

And I'm 100% sure all C&C games, even C&C95, use the registry. I've messed with the RA1 version numbers a lot to get RA 1.08 to work on WOL/XWIS

And that CD thing is total bullshit.

Sry, but nobody told me yet, and well, I just didn't realize myself.
But don't worry, 2.4 is coming, sooner or later Wink

I just played a 1v1 game of ROTD without WOL/XWIS

And this is thanks to the mighty cool method of 1v1 null-modem games over IP developed by Myg (irc: quakenet.com - #C&C.ie) which doesn't only bring back C&C1/C&C95 LAN play but also provides an easy way of playing online again.

This method, explained here, works for C&C1, RA1 and TS, and thus obviously for ROTD too :p

(do note there's a 1 hour use limit on the shareware version of the proggie used to emulate the COM ports. Smart people know how to fix that with google Wink)

anyway... meh screenies!

wewt! I totally pwned some ppl in FFA Very Happy

Alkov tried to block my base with his upcoming Light tank rush, so I took two crate-cloaked Light tanks of my own and destroyed his CY. His desperate end rush ws no match for my three obbies and the couple of tanks and choppers I had in my base Smile

and then Car pwned... eh, who was that actually? Never saw anything of that guy :p

But before I could start my attack on Car he got scared of me and resigned.

Awww...

Well, I still won Wink
