ok, when I put those ships in Ts and RA2 the decks would either be blue or pink, depending on which direction it was facing

it depends on what palette you are using.  and if its pink or blue your using a color that isnt on the palette for that particular game.

"Naval Voxel God", eh? Well you have low expectations if you think you a "God" IMO; you should check out the DDay ship voxels Wink

Anyway, if you save a second copy of the ship you can fix the normals in a pretty "lazy" way:

1) Smooth the normals on Ship1 with the latest smoother in VxlSE3 (NOT the other smoothers!).

2) Cut the superstructure off Ship1, and save.

3) Autonormalise Ship2, but don't smooth. Save.

4) Copy-paste the supersructure off Ship2 onto Ship1, layer by layer.

5) Save Ship2. You should now have a smooth hull and squared superstructure without having to smooth manually.
