I guess Carrier would be too big.It vould go into units unless pd or OpenSun would do more cells units thing. Alsom, my Homeworld is not working now, so I have only screens of some Kushan/Taiidan ships seen in Cataclysm. QUICK_EDIT

You haven't seen nothing if you havent seen HW!
HW is about you finding your legacy, to me the story is far superior to that of HW2, but HW lacks the titantic planet killing ships of HW2 . If you want to discover alien races on your journeys, kill big ships, fight the Emperor, then this game is for you. Internet is possible but you have to search for the downloads for this game, and some of the people on the internet are ok to play with.
Get HW2, you will enjoy that gem, even though the story is hard to understand at first.
The internet of the game runs on gamespy, but theres hardly anybody there sometimes. You do get the option to customise your own logos onto your ships and change their colours though, and probably the first time you play online, you will more than sure get your butt blown apart. Many people online are quite mannered to play against, except for one or two when I took NOD logo and stuck that to my ship, and as I was beating a player, he goes "You NOOB, i'm gonna report you to C&C coz u stole logo". I said "Westwood is dead lol, it's not supported anymore" and he goes "Don't care, im gonna report u". Silly crackpot..
Cataclysm has some good beats/tracks, but half of the technology falls into the same mistake as many other sequal games, such as "Where did the technology from Cataclysm go?" "Wheres the Super Acolytes?", "What no Siege Cannon?". Litterally they were cut out from HW2, but it has a GREAT story about you tring to fight off a menace that infects people, binds them to their ships and makes them fight for their hive mind, and you litterally get to hear them scream on the comlink when infected/hear them twisting onboard ships.
But on the internet, 80% of them are bad mouthed.
Summery:
HW2 has got good graphics but don't get your hopes up for a HW2 sequal, it's over.. Relic got bought by HW's rival company, and so the chances of them working together are extremely low. But it's a fantastic game.
HW's got the Story, and the space opera, but lacks the Graphics of it's later brother. A fantastic game too.
Cataclysm is a prequal with a great story, and same specs as Homeworld, but internet is pretty bad. Fantastic Single Player game.
