I got an email from my brother, he's been promoted to a Major, for what he did at Hammerfest. Not only does he out-rank me, but he's now a poster boy, an example of what to be. He'd better not start bragging about it. Or history might repeat itself. That act of bravery made me think of some incident where he got too confident, and he had a "meeting" with a group of large and mean highschoolers. He didn't enjoy that. My comment to him when I stopped them was "I told you", right before he passed out. That was 13 years ago. He got smarter.

More recently, I had to explain how to correctly perform maitnance on a M40 AR to a 2nd Lt. You'd think that that would be explained in boot camp. Idiot. I seem to run into a lot of them.

I apologized to that Sargent I beat up yesterday. Still, I don't take kindly to getting asked out by total strangers. I might want to get back at them.. Those guys have been telling new arrivals to ask other base personnel out. Yeah.. I will.. I think I'l pretend to date him.. Just to annoy them.. His name is Matt Marat.. Strange.. His initals are M&M, an old candy, made out of chocolate.. Chocolate.. What I'd do for a Hershey's bar with almonds..

This might be embarrasing.. Urgh.. I never knew I could do this.. Hard to believe that I've still got my femnine side, at least partially intact.. I'm amazed, I've still got lipstick.. & makeup..
