Hello stucuk,

I really love your Voxel section editor, but one thing is bugging me a bit. It isn't possible to have proper normals on 1 layer of voxels. Result ingame makes that layer look too dark or too bright, depending in what direction the tank/plane etc. is faced. Some stuff that need to be 2 layers of voxels to look good are for example the blimp of the kirov. I can't get good results with the remove redundant voxels-tool because it only leaves 1 layer of voxels, wich can't be normalized properly. As a result you get bad ingame looks wich is a pity  Sad . Is there maybe a way to implement a feature in the editor to either choose to leave 1 layer of voxels after removing redundant, or 2? That would be really a good thing, because the models look way better ingame.

Something like this: see pic

I hope you'll give me some feedback Smile

Greetz..

i don't think that would be possible. Iv personaly forgotten how it actualy works, but looking at the code i don't see how it could be done. The short answer is don't remove the redundent voxels then. Tho if you don't shrink your voxel down (which i don't see why u would need to) then you should have no problems with only 1 layer of voxels.

Note: if the problem ur having is just generating them then why not generate them and save the model, then remove the redundent voxels and save it under a different filename (so that u can re-open the first one to edit it and start the process again if needed)

P.S its not my program its 'Ours'(Stucuk, Will, Plasmadroid, Koen), im the 4th person to work on it. Will was the first.
