TS Retro mplay now FULLY works again as it should
TS! and to everyone else wanting to play TS Retro online worry no more
I tried and tested and also found this damn bug
I traced it directly to the new Sparkling tiberium and thus disabled it
looks like mplay just couldnt handle all those CellAnim's
ill look into enabling it again whilst maintaining multiplayer but for now (for ever in fact) being able to play multiplayer is the priority over such things
i would update my site and include this as a patch for 1.0 but as ive said before i cant just update my site when i want
anyway im looking forward to u guys playing 1.1 (its so much more improved over 1.0 and still lots to go)
hows about organising a online multiplayer for everyone with TS Retro?
I think thats a great idea, wait for Retro 1.1 though otherwise you will get constant re-connection errors in 1.0 plus the fact 1.1 is MUCH better
it should be out soon plus Tiberium Studios will be advertised so there should be alot more players by then up for playing online
Just need to fully upload my pages and fix them for Tiberium Studios and add the cyborg flamethrower and it should be done
P.S. Im trying to look into a way of being able to identify people with TS Retro on Westwood Online, ill need to look into it as im not sure if its possible.

btw, this topic was moved now for Tiberian Sun Retro forum here. The current version available to public is the 1.1 that can be downloaded in Tiberium Studios or... if you are too lazy, go to PPM site and check other "projects" section . _________________

1. These crates can be made to do something else... Like did HEALONE animation repairs anything that touched the crate (Damage=-9999).
Ion Storm: Make a animation of Ion bolt and make it kill anything that is under it.
Drop Pod: Not sure how.

3.Spiderman can make them, but there is one problem: The Unit Sell ability is hardcoded to work with GADEPT. Meaning if you make NADEPT, Nod player can't sell units on their Service Depot.
4. I know how to get aircraft to "eject" pilots. Simply, create a new debris animation that uses INFDIE animation. When craft gets destroyed, the pilot jumps without parachute and on to death. You could in theory by using Sidec01.mix and Sidec02.mix (these contain the alternate cameos etc) so you could try putting a two building graphics with the same name into the different mixes and see if that woks out. The only problem would be that if you were playing as Nod you would see the GDI stucture as the same image (so both service depots would look like Nods for example). That I think is primarily why those two mixes only contain interface stuff as that is only seen by the on person so it doesn't matter so much... QUICK_EDIT
